Deals of the Day - Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide - IGN (2024)

The "Deals of the Day" are a five-part series of Quests that involve helping Ursula the sea witch negotiate her trademark deals with various residents of Dreamlight Valley. Players can only access these quests after purchasing the "Ursula's Transformation" Dream Bundle, which costs 4,000 Moonstones. After purchasing the Bundle, you must welcome "Vanessa" to the Valley through a series of three quests, "These Legs Were Made For Walking," "A Show Like No Other," and "Voice of Reason."

Beginning the day after you complete the "Voice of Reason" Quest, you will have access to one "Deal of the Day" each day for the next five real-world days. Each one rewards you with valuable items such as Fish, Gems, and cooked Meals. Completing all five earns you the Flotsam and Jetsam Statues furniture item for your Valley. This guide will help you through all five "Deal of the Day" Quests included with the "Ursula's Transformation" Dream Bundle.

Deal of the Day: Off The Hook

The first deal Ursula needs help with was made with Goofy. She enchanted his Fishing Rod in exchange for seaweed, but his rod broke and he was unable to complete his part of the deal. First, talk to Goofy. Then, collect the pieces he needs to repair his rod:

• 10 x Hardwood
  • Hardwood can be Foraged from the ground near trees in the Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, Glade of Trust, and Sunlit Plateau. It can also be purchased from Kristoff's Stall.
• 2 x Tinkering Parts
  • 3 Tinkering Parts can be Crafted from two Iron Ingots. 1 Iron Ingot can be Crafted from 5 Iron Ore and 1 Coal

Give the items to Goofy, who will then ask you to help him catch the seaweed he needs for Ursula. Using your Royal Fishing Rod, catch the following items:

• 10 x Seaweed
  • Seaweed can be Fished from non-bubbling water in any biome.
• 5 x Red Algae
  • Red Algae has a small chance to spawn when Fishing in any biome.

Finally, give the Seaweed and Red Algae to Ursula to complete the deal. The sea witch is genuinely happy for the help and will reward you with some Miracle Fishing Bait.

Deal of the Day: Bad Hair Day

Ursula gave Moana a star chart in exchange for advice about how to keep her hair thick and luscious on land. Talk to Moana to learn that she wanted to make Ursula some Coconut Oil, and needs your help to do so.

You will need to gather five Coconuts. Coconuts can be Foraged from trees on Dazzle Beach after completing Maui's Friendship Quest "Burying the Eel."

Once you have the Coconuts, talk to WALL-E and ask him to chop them up for you, which the little robot happily agrees to do. Then, give the Shredded Coconuts to Moana to complete this Deal of the Day. You do NOT need to return to Ursula to finish this one! As thanks for your help, Moana will give you two Swordfish and one Fugu.

Deal of the Day: The Gift

Donald Duck received a mysterious gift from Ursula, but he now thinks it's cursed! Talk to Donald, who asks you to find and destroy the gift for him. The gift is found in a Mysterious Blue Box which is located on the floor inside Donald's House.

Once you have the box, bring it to Donald. He suggests that the item needs to be destroyed somewhere that can contain its power, so meet him in the Cursed Cave where Ursula was trapped when you first came to Dreamlight Valley. Interact with the box and choose to "Stomp on it" to destroy the strange gift for good.

Finally, conclude the Deal of the Day by talking to both Donald and Ursula. For your efforts, you will be rewarded with several Meals - a Cheese Platter, Fish Creole, and Mint Candy - as well as two Citrine and one Shiny Emerald.

Deal of the Day: The Chocolate Fountain

Ursula gave Anna an infinite chocolate fountain, but she ate too much and became sick. Talk to Anna and she will ask you to help fulfill her part of the deal: collecting icy materials from the Frosted Heights to give to Ursula.

Head to the Frosted Heights and use your Royal Pickax to break apart chunks of ice until you have obtained the following:

• 10 Ice Shards
• 20 Snowballs

Snowballs can be collected by breaking ice chunks at any time, but Ice Shards are a Quest item that will ONLY spawn while this Deal of the Day is active!

Bring the ice and snow to Ursula to learn that she wanted it to make some delicious Sorbet. She will ask you to collect six Red Fruits, which can be any combination of Apples, Raspberries, and Gooseberries. Apples can be found in the Plaza and Forgotten Lands, Raspberries in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow, and Gooseberries in the Forgotten Lands and Frosted Heights.

Finally, bring the fruits to Ursula. To your surprise, the sea witch is more than happy to share her tasty dessert with you, and you will receive a Red Fruit Sorbet as a reward!

Deal of the Day: Like A Warm Hug

In the final (for now) Deal of the Day Quest, Olaf the snowman has an unusual response to his deal with Ursula: he wants to thank her for her services with some gifts! Olaf will need some help with both repairing a stuffed animal and picking a beautiful bouquet of flowers for the sea witch.

Talk to Olaf and he will give you Olaf's Torn Stuffed Animal as well as asking for the following materials:

• 10 x Cotton
  • Cotton can be harvested from seeds purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau.
• 5 x Fiber
  • 5 Fiber can be Crafted from 1 Seaweed. Seaweed can be fished from non-bubbling water in any biome.
• 4 x White Passion Lily
  • White Passion Lilies can be picked in the Frosted Heights.
• 1 x Blue Passion Lily
  • Blue Passion Lilies can be picked in the Frosted Heights.
• 4 x Red Bromeliad
  • Red Bromeliads can be picked in the Sunlit Plateau.

Once you have gathered the needed materials, head to any Crafting Station in the Valley and make Olaf's Stuffed Animal and a Bouquet. Then, conclude the Deal of the Day by giving the items to Ursula.

The sea witch is surprised and touched to receive a gift for once, and she rewards you with a Flotsam and Jetsam Statue that you can use to decorate your Valley! Ursula's deals might not always turn out great for everyone, but isn't life in Dreamlight Valley more fun with "Vanessa"...er, that is, Ursula...around?
